Had a can of Guinness, don’t drink beer, made Australian “dampers” (in the oven)

Small bag of flour, 1 can of beer, some water as needed.

Oven preheated at 200C (400F), bake for 30-40 minutes on pan, then 5 minutes straight on rack. Ready when they sound hollow when knocking on the bottom.


This is adapted from an Australian tradition a friend, Beau, made me discover while I was camping.
