Awesome video! Tons of great stuff in just over three minutes.
I’ve always been intrigued by sampling. It’s mind boggling to me that something like the Amen Break has been sampled over 1000 times (#).
There’s a lot to that:
* a great beat will always be a great beat
* but there’s also the familiarity it brings to a track, which helps honing on hits, sometimes. :)
