Henry Rollins FTW!
Promising a bit of ‘performance art’ for his Toronto appearance on Thursday evening, Henry Rollins started his show by raising the house lights, walking into the crowd and handing everyone in the venue a crisp ten dollar bill. […] Apparently, an error was made on the surcharges on the Toronto show and Rollins received a few emails from his Canadian fans asking why the tickets seemed more expensive than usual. Upon realizing the surcharges were added in error, Rollins took it upon himself to make sure the promoter had a ten dollar bill ready for every ticket sold and he took the time to walk the entire venue, seat by seat, and give the overage back, to cheers from the audience.

Sweet Metropolis Lineup
Pretty sweet upcoming lineup at the Metropolis, including the Pixies, Queens of the Stone Age and even Johnny Clegg (hadn’t heard of him in a while).
Merton Improvises Montreal
Chatroulette’s Drive-By Piano Guy, Merton, dropped by Montreal recently and started playing right in the street (yes, in Winter!). Wish I was there.
