This set of functional mechanical fingers was developed by the Robohand duo for a young man named Liam who was born without fingers on his right hand. It is body powered via cables and return bungees. “Open source”, patent-free prosthetic? Oh yeah! I can’t help but feel a little proud our own open source work was somewhat helpful to them, as their site runs on WordPress (WordPress.com, even). :)
