Sunsets over Mallets Bay
A couple of sunset pictures taken from the deck of our rental cottage in Mallets Bay (Colchester, VT), where my family and I spent a wonderful vacation last week.

Fresh sausage sandwich from William J. Walter, Stewart’s black cherry soda, sun, park and my skateboard. If I’m missing anything, I really don’t know what it might be. :)
I love this artwork. Unfortunately, I had to resort to posting a cropped photo of their poster I took, because their site does not showcase the beautiful typographic work on the word Montreal coupled with the classic maiden artwork on a single pict, like the poster does.
We’re lucky enough to have a back alley which is in fact a dead end, hence no traffic. We keep it clean so that our and the neighborhood’s kids can have a playground of sort. Those flowers are part of the communal effort to pretty it up.

One of these cooperative artworks caught my eye on Ffffound yesterday and I traced the image back to its original posting on a French art mag’s site named Amusement. I love the attention paid to subtle details, such as Sonic logo on the foundry mold in the image above and the Atari logo on the horizontal metal band saw in the Pong depiction.
I saw one of those in London once. I think it was a Tuesday.

The heat wave from the last two weeks has subdued here in Montreal, so it’s not bad at all. Would have been unbearable last week. Wouldn’t be as comfortable without the big umbrella above the table though. Today was just perfect.
