Since I develop this theme for myself and do not intend to document or provide support for it outside of this realm, I am not packaging it for download at this time. This said, the Subversion repository is publicly available if you want to take a peek.

Note: by design, the code is customized for this very site’s content architecture, and might therefore not be portable without some type of modifications. It’s definitely not my best work, and your mileage will greatly vary. Feel free to send your constructive criticism and suggestions to labs[at]tekartist.org.

My main goals for the tekArtist theme are:

• to have an avenue for WordPress and general web development experiments outside of my work environment.
• to support existing and upcoming open standards, such as microformats, etc.
• to have universally accessible content through proper document structure and adapted stylesheets for screen, print, etc.
• to make use of unobtrusive Javascript techniques where valuable, to enhance the user experience, but without relying on client-side scripting being enabled for the core functionalities.
• and so on, you get the idea.
