That is really, really tempting, especially if it can stream x264 MKV’s off my PC. Sure, a fullblown HTPC is more flexible, but also costs a lot more.
I may have to get a bigscreen and a Boxee…
Ditto. I’ve been contemplating a Mac Mini for ages and never did get it. That one is just what we need at home.

It’s by the makers of the very popular Popcorn Hour box.
Is that available already? Their site says pre-order only, but the Amazon listings don’t mention that fact (actually says it’s in stock). $129 for wired, $149 for wireless: not bad. The Boxee box is also said to be sub-$200. Guess we’ll see who comes out first. :)
