Hi,

I am experimenting with WordPress mu, and I need LDAP authentication. I found your plugin (wpdirauth) and went to see the FAQ here:
http://groups.google.com/group/wpdirauth-support/web/wpdirauth-faq

Now there are four links there to various sources of information, but I’m not sure that all the links are correct. I have only clicked on one of them (An Introduction to LDAP on O’Reilly OnLAMP), and then naked people started jumping on my screen. It’s not to say that I’m against that, I was just a bit surprised, that’s all.

(And at the download sections there is a file called “Dirty horny lesbians playing…” – I guess they are the ones who actually look up the usernames in the LDAP directory.)

You should take a look into this.

Hi, i’m trying to get wpDirAuth working with WordPress 2.5 . I don’t know why i keep receiving the same error with every login attempt :

“Directory Login Error: wpDirAuth config error: No directory server available for authentication.”

I’m absolutely sure that i entered the right parameters in the plugins options panel. I created a single PHP file to test ldap_connect(), ldap_bind() and ldap_search() functions and IT WORKED !
Please help me with this.

Hi, how can I fix the wpDirAuth to work in WordPress 2.5?, I saw that WordPress change many things in Authentication methods, but I don’t found any documentation about this!

But I can’t make wpDirAuth 1.2 work with WordPress 2.5! It looks good untile I actually try to log in with an LDAP ID. Then it says “ERROR: Invalid Username” and won’t create the profile.

Could it be that bit about “salted passwords”?
